Satellite imagery confirms that strikes on 22 October damaged production buildings at the 75th Arsenal, a state weapons plant in Serpukhov, Moscow Oblast, the GEOINT project CyberBoroshno said on 27 October.
CyberBoroshno identified workshops Nos. 24 and 25 and an adjacent storage facility as the locations hit. The project described these as key production buildings containing lines for dismantling, diagnostics, repair and overhaul of air defense system components, including the S-300V, Buk and Tunguska-M, as well as radar reconnaissance systems. After components are repaired in these facilities, units are assembled there, radio-electronic equipment is integrated, and ground radio interrogators and radar stations are configured, CyberBoroshno said.
The 75th Arsenal belongs to the Russian state corporation Rostec and repairs Buk-M1/M2 and S-300V systems. Experts said strikes on workshops that return equipment to service may slow the repair of Russian air defense systems and their delivery to troops. A separate comparison of satellite imagery of the plant was posted by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel; the comparison shows damaged buildings.
On 22 October, OSINT analysts from Falcon Insight Map identified what they assessed were the probable targets of the strike on the 75th Arsenal. Their assessment at the time held that workshops Nos. 24 and 25 were the buildings affected.
CyberBoroshno has posted a video of its analysis of satellite imagery of the company.
