The price for an Oklahoma City Thunder title has jumped to +360, a sharp increase from their previous +300 listing. This shift occurred after forward Jalen Williams suffered a fractured fibula and a dislocated left ankle on Sunday. The injury will likely keep the 25-year-old out for months, potentially ending his season.

The Thunder are one of four unbeaten teams remaining in the league. They play the Dallas Mavericks at 9:30 p.m. ET Wednesday in the Western Conference. This marks the first meeting between the two franchises this season. Oklahoma City entered the game as a 6.5-point favorite, with the total set at 229.5 points.

General manager Sam Presti confirmed the severity of Williams' injury. He noted that the team has not established a firm timeline for return. Williams played only 33 regular-season games last year and missed 10 of 15 playoff contests. His absence removes a key offensive presence from the Thunder lineup.

The roster thinning extended beyond Williams. Guard Cason Wallace tore a labrum in his left shoulder during the same game against the Clippers. His return this season is uncertain despite a recent five-year, $139 million contract extension. Guard Alex Caruso sprained his right ankle on Monday and will sit out the Dallas game. Big man Chet Holmgren missed his second straight game due to patellar tendinitis.

Betting markets have adjusted to reflect the Thunder's struggles. Odds to win the Western Conference slipped to +200, placing them behind San Antonio at +165. The projected regular-season win total dropped from 61.5 to 58.5. Approximately 73% of bets on Wednesday's matchup are on Oklahoma City, though only 65% of the money is on the same side.

Dallas presents a difficult opponent. First-year coach Dusty May leads a squad centered on second-year star Cooper Flagg. The Mavericks have split their first two games, winning on the road against Indiana and Miami. Flagg returned Monday to score 29 points and grab 11 rebounds. Kyrie Irving added 18 points, six rebounds, and six assists in the 113-109 win over the Heat.

Several Mavericks players remain questionable for the game. Irving is dealing with a knee issue, as are forwards Naji Marshall and Caleb Martin. Oklahoma City won the series 3-0 last season, averaging a 13-point margin of victory. A SportsLine model currently projects a 118-115 victory for the Thunder.

The Thunder will rely heavily on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He remains the primary option for Oklahoma City. Jared McCain and rookie Bennett Stirtz are expected to receive increased playing time. The game serves as a stress test for the remaining healthy players in the Thunder rotation.
